Inspired by Esther Howland (1828 - 1904), an artist and businesswoman from Worcester, MA who was responsible for popularizing the Valentine's Day greeting card and mass producing them through her business, the New England Valentine Company, in 1870. The jersey features a custom-designed patch on the front centered around Howland's personal stamp accented by her signature Valentine lace aesthetic. The right sleeve is embellished with an artist interpretation of the City seal and the left sleeve is marked with the POW! WOW! Worcester logo. The back of the jersey features either a 17 or 22 which represents the year that Worcester was incorporated as a Town (1722). 100% polyester.
